Musing: Good Reasons To Wear Clothes
a) Clothes keep you warm when it's cold
b) Some clothes protect you from harm
c) If no-one ever wore clothes, people would be thinking about sex a whole lot more, and wouldn't be concentrating on other things. When everyone is wearing clothes, people are a lot more productive.

d) There are many people who you just do NOT want to see naked. Thankyou clothes.
Personally, seeing some people naked would really put me off sex.
But if no-one wore clothes, people with unattractive bodies would probably be more motivated to change and look good, seeing as the 'conceal and avoid' approach is gone. :-)
...That or they'd get really really depressed. :-s
But if we didn't wear clothes the issue of nakedness would not exist. The word naked wouldn't exist. So it's likely that scary ugly people would still be the same and have all the same issues.
Clothes not existing would also remove the need for questions like 'does my butt look big in this?'.
I am soooo trying not to picture the neighbour from There's Something About Mary. Arrg!
I wonder whether these people who would put Violet off having sex actually picture themselves as other people while having sex, because they obviously do have sex otherwise there'd not be any scary people like that.
For me, clothes are good, otherwise everyone would be forced to wear a welder's visor if I stepped out into the sun.
Granted, I guess.
But still, naked people = distracting and unproductiveness-causing. If not because you want to have sex with good-looking person, then because you're trying not to think about bad-looking person ever having sex. (I'm glad now that I haven't seen Something About Mary)
I'd think that people who had sex with ugly people would have to be picturing someone else as well. But being naked all the time would kind of be unhelpful for people trying to pretend that someone ugly is actually attractive.
...This is probably very something-ist. 'People are all equally beautiful' or something stupid like that.
